The year is 3844. For over 1,000 years, a terrible conflict called the Infinite War has raged between three human-based factions: the United Earth Federation (UEF), Aeon Illuminate and Cybran Nation.
Using Quantum Gate technology, the three factions can create 'Quantum Tunnels' to nearly any location in the galaxy, granting them near instantaneous travel to even the most distant plants. Massive Armoured Command Units can construct and unleash entire armies anytime and anywhere.
The Infinite War has claimed billions of lives. Entire planets have been turned into nothing more than smouldering rocks floating lifelessly in space.
There is no room for compromise. There is no room for mercy. Only you can end the Infinite War.
Adding to the expansive Supreme Commander universe, the Xbox 360 edition features exclusive new units, updated maps and two new multiplayer modes.
Further more, gamers are able to take the fight online against up to three other players from around the world via Xbox LIVE. In addition, a revised, console-specific control interface and HUD gives gamers unprecedented strategic power over their armies.
The revolutionary Strategic Zoom not only gives the player the flexibility to control the entire theatre of war from an overhead map view, but also enables them to zoom right down to ground level, where they can issue orders to single units. The game can handle a vast number of units on screen, and players will need every single one to take down enormous experimental units that can change the tide of battle. The same units, ranging from miniscule to mammoth, will be available in the ranked multiplayer battles.

Brought this game a few weeks back now, when i recieved it i was like yes yes yes!!!!!!! But as i got playing the campain it's so god damn hard! For all three factions i'm only on mission, 2,2 and 3!the graphics are brilliant! And the stratigic zoom is pretty good aswell.the odd lagg but that rarely happens for me.
Now on to the units themselves.unlike command and conquer you can win over the enemey with like 10 mammoth tanks, but on this game you have got to have a strategy with your units otherwise 3 losses can end your invasion to destroy the enemy.
Also the way you can build your bases anywhere at anytime with your armoured command unit is brilliant you can build epic bases andy where at any time.
Altogether a great game, great buy.
Graphics, 9/10
Game, 10/10!
Good game if you like RTS

If you like RTS and enjoy a time consuming possible long battle with some half descent AI then this game is a must.
It does crash occasinally but found it only crashes after several saves and when you have full unit cap then can get slow at drawing the textures but no different to GTA and texture lag. Controls are a dream C&C could learn from them you can patrol waypoint stack up Q's and advance things like that.
The maps are also huge which makes a nice change as sometime on the console they are kept small.
Well worth a buy.
Goodbye C&C3, hello supreme commander

This game is amazing, there is so much to do...build nukes(more than 1) make experimental units, build huge bases etc. This game does take a while to get used to, but once your over that you can armys on a huge scale on huge maps, theres loads of building and units spread over 3 tech levels 3 being the best.
I think the reviews for this game have been bad due to the fact that the player dosnt understand the controls and the stratagie involved in building your base.
There is also more stratagie involved in attacking your enemy unlike c&c3 where 40 mamoth takes will get you through anything, theres a range of defence buildings such as turrets, bubble shields stealth sheilds etc.
Overall this game should have had more advertisment, as its simple supreme oon a massive scale.
