30 Days Of Night is based on the comic book miniseries, by Steve Niles, of the same name and features Josh Hartnett and Melissa George.
In a sleepy, secluded Alaska town called Barrow, the sun sets and doesn't rise for over thirty consecutive days and nights. From the darkness, across the frozen wasteland, an evil will come that will bring the residents of Barrow to their knees. The only hope for the town is the Sheriff and Deputy, a husband and wife who are torn between their own survival and saving the town they love.

A welcome change from jump out of your skin, huge fang vampire movies that said; not particularly scarey. The set is great. The ending did seem to happen all of a sudden and then was the movie over.

Loved the way it surprised me with how well it was shot with the moons light as a backdrop.a real treat for vamp fans,not sexy or half good or heroic just pure evil killers with 30 days to hunt and feed(gruesomely)on the few survivors.the extras and mag are a good addition,bloody and eerie scenes make this a scary and excellent film.
