In this sequel to the bestselling "Gangs", Ross Kemp once again infiltrates groups of the deadliest criminals in countries as varied and far-reaching as Los Angeles, Bulgaria and Kenya. In Poland, while investigating Neo-Nazi football hooligans, Ross is tear-gassed at a football match as he shadows an elite police riot squad. In Columbia he meets the Sicarios, criminals who operate as hit-squads and who specialize in professional assassinations. And in East Timor he comes eyeball to eyeball with the gangs that are bringing the country to the verge of collapse, and witnesses their primeval initiation rites. Risking his life, Ross goes deep into the realms of gangland culture, and in this nail-biting and enlightening book, reveals its most terrifying secrets.

Having just finished 'Gangs', Ross Kemps first book on his popular TV documentary (At time of writing only £5 on Play, a great purchase), I was left with a want of more of this style of writing. Whilst various other gangland books offer all the gory details, Kemp manages to show this and humanise the thugs and shows both the gangs and the effect they have on their surroundings. If you haven't read the first, it's a great purchase and worth picking up, and Gangs 2 follows on perfectly.
