beautiful book well worth reading full of information about the film the characters and actors themselves i bought it shortly after watching the film (which was amazing!) and its well worth the money. its packed full of behind the scenes stuff good stuff!

While waiting for the film I took great pleasure in reading this book. As you would expect with Tim Burton there are wonderful little details that delight, the blood splatter on the pages; pages that look the colour and texture of aged paper that you really get in victorian books. At the back in the picture section the pictures have a gloss the rest of the page doesnt and looks as if it is in an old victorian photo album. I just loved it for this. As for the content it gives a details description of different stages of the film, as well as the history of the Sweeney Todd tale
I particularly enjoyed the section on the set designer, something Id had little interest in before.
The book seems great value, with a lot of fascinating information about Sweeney Todd in general and the film itself, it seems a far higher quality 'book about the film' than most tie in things tend to be, the love and care put into the presentation and content seems to stem from a genuine love of the films subject, and each persons love of it.
If your a fan of Sweeney Todd and Tim Burton .. not to mention Johnny Depp and Helen Bonham-Carter, I rather think you'll love it too
